Change/Remove alert message that appears when adding a list item
Adding a list item happens constantly, and it's clear that I've done it because I have a new item field and my item has been added. If you want to bring attention to the action of adding a list, make the item that i added a color and have it fade to its default grey. That way, the specific message is highlighted, not the generic message that's currently up top. Ultimately, I don't think adding needs an alert.

Hey John -- this is a great list -- keep 'em coming. Re: alert message, great point, I'll remove the alert. List sorting is on the v1 feature list (alphabetize, chronological order, reverse chron, etc). Spinning icon problem -- not sure -- has it happened a lot, can you replicate? Part of the problem is that the current server isn't the fastest (to keep costs down) but let me know if this happens consistently.

I've taken the liberty of changing this list to a checklist (Edit List Setting) and will mark items off when fixed.

It just hung once on adding an item. Another time it took a second or two... the speediness of adding items is definitely part of the fun. meaning, i type an item, hit return, type another item. it's as though the return key replaces the spacebar key ... the difference in making a list versus a paragraph. Having it hang is definitely a buzz klll... I'll keep an eye on it and see if I can replicate. Checklist is a great idea! I think most of my lists should be checklists.... and 'duh' on sorting.

Yeah, slow adding items is a buzzkill for sure -- I am spoiled by my local copy of blisto running on my dev box. Upgrading server is high on the list at this point -- fast item adding is key.

By the way -- you can choose b/t 3 different types of lists: bulleted, numbered, and checklist by clicking on "Edit List Settings". And as I am quickly realizing, there needs to be an option to "email me comments as they appear on my list" or at the very least a "comment feed" on dashboard so everytime you log in you can see who has commented recently.

You're right about email functionality... then I'd know there are updates... the design of that email could be cool... it could show the current state of the list with the latest comment, for instance.
